Dr Rasin Duzceer (Vice Manager, Kasktas, A.S., Istanbul, Turkey) wrote a state of the art paper related to the design and performance of anchors in soft ground and weak rocks with particular emphasis on SBMA technology. Dr Duzceer presented his paper at the 2nd National Conference on Soil Structure Interaction in Theory and Practice organized by Akdeniz University. The presentation was entitled “The Design and Performance of SBMA in soft Ground” and is yet another example of an excellent initiative from Kasktas, who prove that they are a contractor who embraces the latest technology and who is prepared to implement and promote innovative solutions to the support of structures in weak ground.
