Bora Okumushoglu (Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Kasktas. A.S, Moscow) delivered an excellent presentation on the implementation of single bore multiple anchor technology at Kuntsevo Plaza in Moscow to the International Forum for High-Rise and Special Constructions at Yekaterinburg, Russia.
Mr Alp Gokalp (Projects Coordinator, Kasktas, A.S.) verbally presented the paper; ‘Design, construction and performance of Single Bore Multiple anchored diaphragm wall’ (authors: Mothersille, Duzceer, Gokalp, Adatepe and Okumusoglu) at the XV1 ECSMGE. Mr Alp also presented an excellent digital poster displaying the outstanding SBMA works at Kuntsevo (Moscow), Izmir (Turkey) and Petkim (Turkey) – see photograph below
The XV1 ECSMGE 2015 was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre between 13-17 September 2015 and is one of the most prestigious conferences of its type, dealing with many topics including Science, Geology, Geophysics, Fundamental Sciences, Mechanics, Soil, Technology and Engineering. The conference is organized quadrennially by the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering along with the British Geotechnical Association.
