Successful completion of first phase of investigation tests – Izmir, Turkey
The first phase of an extensive programme of investigation tests on Single Bore Multiple Anchors has now been successfully completed. This first phase was carried out by specialist anchor contractor Kasktas and the second phase will be completed by specialist anchor contractor Keller in the coming weeks.
During an intense week of activity Dr Devon Mothersille advised on the implementation of a single hollow ram jack used to stress and test multi-unit tendons. Dr Mothersille also presented the initial results to representatives from the clients’ and main contractor’s organisations. In addition, a special training seminar was delivered to site operatives from Kasktas.
